The Village of Pinecrest was incorporated to be more responsive to the needs and interests of the community and provide better services than County government provided. Over the past few years, the Village leadership has abandoned these principles and distanced itself from the interests of its citizens.
I am running for Mayor of Pinecrest to ensure that we have more effective leadership; leadership that will be more accountable to the community. Pinecrest residents want leadership that will adopt sound and effective policies and continue to improve the quality of life in our Village. The current leadership has failed to deliver and citizen activism in opposition to unsound government proposals is on the increase, as trust in the leadership has declined.
